How long should I wear keloid pressure earrings after my keloid removal surgery?
It is recommended to wear the earrings for at least 6 months, preferably 1 year to minimize keloid regrowth. It takes time for the wound to fully heal and for the collagen to remodel. Even though the wound "looks" healed after 1 month, the unseen tissue underneath is still in healing process. You need to keep apply pressure until it's fully healed.
I am having ear keloid removal surgery. When should I start wearing keloid earrings?
After the surface of the wound has healed (no blood, no swelling) So purchasing right before surgery is not too late. Please consult your doctor for detail instruction!
How to combine with clinical treatments?
Steroid Injection: Wear the earrings daily for as long as you can. Take a rest if you experience headache when the pressure is too strong. It's OK to wear the earrings right before or after the injection.
Incision Removal Surgery: After the surgery, there will be stitches. You should wear the earrings after stitches are revmoved and when the wound is dried off already. You don't have to wear the earrings too soon, it's better to wait for the would to be stable.
Cryo-surgery: Earrings after the keloid dries and falls off.
I am not planning to have keloid removal surgery. Can keloid pressure earrings shrink my keloid?
The earrings should stop the keloid scar from growing. Normally it cannot flatten keloid that's already formed, but we've seen very soft and early stage baby keloid scars being flattened by our pressure earrings. As keloid formation rate and condition differ person to person. We cannot give you an exact guideline on how fresh the keloid scar should be for it to be flattened by earrings. Please seek your doctor's advice for the best treatment for your condition.
How do I choose the right size for my keloid?

I have keloid only on 1 ear, can I still wear pressure earrings on both ears so they look like a normal pair of earrings?
Absolutely! We offer discounted upgrade to a pair because a lot of our customers ask for a pair to match both ears like normal jewelries.
Can keloid pressure earrings be worn while sleeping?
Of course you can! They might fall off when you rub the ear against the pillow while you sleep and you might need to look for them in the morning. Besides that we can't think of other reasons not to wear them to sleep.
How long should I wear keloid pressure earrings each day?
It is recommended to wear for at least 8-12 hours per day. The longer you wear the better.
Can keloid pressure earrings be worn during exercise or other physical activities?
The earrings are waterproof and sweatproof. As long as they don't fall off, you feel comfortable and confident, why not?
